Anuj Khanna is the Founder and CEO of Comfort Connect, a fintech-driven platform transforming the way residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors grow their businesses and serve homeowners. Since launching the company in 2019, Anuj has been focused on modernizing a legacy industry—leveraging data, technology, and financial tools to bring smarter, more sustainable solutions to contractors nationwide.
He also leads Service 1st Financial, continuing his mission to align innovation with integrity across the home services landscape. At the core of both companies is a simple but powerful vision: empower contractors to thrive, and help homeowners invest in comfort without complexity.
Anuj’s work today is built on a foundation of over two decades in private equity, special situations investing, and corporate restructuring. He previously served as a Partner at CapitalView Investment Partners and held senior leadership roles at American Capital, where he oversaw more than $1 billion in complex middle-market transactions. Early stints at Evercore and UBS shaped his sharp strategic lens—something he continues to apply across every venture.
A graduate of Northwestern University with both an MBA and J.D., and a bachelor’s in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Anuj brings analytical rigor to every venture. He lives in Bethesda, MD, with his wife, two children, and their dog, Teddy—and serves on the board of the Potomac Soccer Association, reflecting his dedication to leadership both in business and in the community.
